halstrup-walcher receives Allianz Industry 4.0 Award for innovative “functional mockup units”
The drive and measurement technology specialist halstrup-walcher is delighted to announce that the company has been awarded the prestigious Allianz Industry 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg in the Winner category. The award was presented for halstrup-walcher's self-developed functional models of drive components for the digital twin of machines and systems.
One of the special features of this digital product solution is that these functional models can be integrated into simulation environments from different manufacturers without any integration effort. The standardized model files digitally reproduce the driving behaviour of the drive components under different framework conditions. This means, for example, that development alternatives can be tested and weighed up against each other as a simulation, even without a prototype.
This success underlines the company's innovative strength and technological excellence and demonstrates the ongoing commitment with which halstrup-walcher is moving into the future of Industry 4.0 together with its customers.
Award for outstanding digitization solutions
The Allianz Industry 4.0 Award is presented annually to companies that develop outstanding achievements and practice-oriented solutions for the digitalization and networking of industrial production. At the “STARTUP THE FUTURE” event on October 23, 2024, which was attended by guests from over 70 industrial companies, Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut honored the award winners in the “Excellence” and “Winner” categories.

The Allianz Industry 4.0 Award sends out a clear signal for Baden-Württemberg as a location for innovation. At the award ceremony, Minister of Economic Affairs Hoffmeister-Kraut emphasized the importance of the innovative strength of the companies based in this region.
